This is how i converted my dads Super 8 footage from the 1970s and 1980s. It took me about 1 week to do it and then about 6 months to edit it and put music and sound effects. Some footage is even being sought after by Hollywood directors to put as Broll in their films and projects. Its a great old format and you should convert it to digital.

I have seen a resurgence by people like Land Del Ray use it in their videos and Steven Spielberg loves it. He even made a film called Super 8
