Along with Comstock and Yudof halls, the East River community overlooks the Mississippi River and boasts two quintessential campus landmarks: the Weisman Art Museum and Coffman Memorial Union. Comstock is home to 553 firstyear residents.

Unlimited utilities, free laundry, highspeed internet, furnished spaces, 24/7 Information Desks, study rooms, lounges, music practice rooms, and more are all included. There is also one Living Learning Communities in the building, where you can connect with other students who share your goals and interests.

Curious about living in Comstock? The UMN housing application opens in November for new firstyear students, and you do not need to wait until you've confirmed your enrollment to apply for housing. Applying early (there's only a $50 fee to apply) puts you in the best position to get assigned to one of your top preferences.
