Attorneys are generally skilled at highlevel, analytical communication because of their training and legal experience. But sometimes, says Professor Meg Bucaro, attorneys find their interpersonal communication skills in need of a tuneup.

Bucaro, a communications coach, professional speaker, and instructor, is scheduled to give the closing plenary at the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Annual Meeting and Conference (AMC), June 1921, in Green Bay.

The title of Bucaro’s plenary is “Communicate More Effectively: Power Moves to Increase Confidence and Influence.”

“Our presence can have a lot of power and can have a lot of influence,” Bucaro said. ‘But if we’re not intentional, sometimes it has consequences that we might regret.”
