FULL KITCHEN REVEAL!!! (Some small things still to do like outside, pantry, painting details etc but it’s all fun stuff!). Hope this helps if you’re planning a renovation yourself, or you're like me and just like looking at kitchens and renovations.

The renovations took a whole year and I struggled a bit with needing to borrow kitchens to bake in, noise and not knowing where everything is! And getting obsessed with every detail and just wanting it to be right. But it’s SOOO WORTH IT! The kitchen before was from the 70’s, tiny and with some rotting cabinets. But we bought the house cause I thought it would be perfect to renovate. Many walls were knocked down and the house was extended, so it’s a completely different space now compared to before!

I learnt how to tile from videos online and so the kitchen tiles are done by me and my partner Nabil. (We still need to finish grouting though it’s not all grouted yet).

I’ve mentioned companies etc I’ve used below in case it is helpful for you, specifying where gifted (I personally reached out to the companies that I wanted to work with!)

Kitchen cabinets: DIY kitchens (discounted, and these guys are SO GREAT. Highly recommend them)

Worktops: Dekton REM by Cosentino (gifted. Also love this brand. The worktop is SO easy to clean and perfect for baking.) fitted by Cambrian Granite

Kitchen cabinet colours: Lick paint green 08 and pink 03

Tap: Qettle (gifted. Super sweet family run business! Gav installed my tap and is great)

Builders: Prestige Renovations Yorkshire (they’re great!)

Architect : Studio J Architects based in Leeds (I am SO GLAD I worked with James. He knows his stuff)

Wallpaper: by the talented Avalana Design

Appliances: ao.com (gifted)

Engineered Wood floor: Wood Floor Warehouse (I researched wood so much this place was the best i found!)

Cats: my own originally from Leeds Cat Rescue

Glass doors at back (and windows): 1st Folding Sliding Doors. The same doors are rebranded and called a different name by many companies, but if you’re looking to get them they’re actually ‘Cortizo’ doors. 1st folding sliding doors rebrand them a different name, but they were the best price I could find at the time and prior to them we had MASSIVE issues with our previous door/window provider which was what caused most of the delays on the project.
