These two legal cases involve content creator Chris Poole and his wife Jessica Josephs and Digital Pet Media. Digital Pet Media is company that Chris formed with two partners, Stephen Watters and Edward Holden to manage and grow the Cole and Marmalade brand in May of 2016. Each partner owns 33.3% of DPM. The two partners fired Chris and Jess in December 2016 and filed a lawsuit against him two days before christmas. (Chris still owes 33.3% of the company.) The first lawsuit is currently in Federal Court and has become a copyright case. It is about who owns the brands Cat Man Chris and Jugg and ZigZag.
The other case is the Derivative case which Chris Poole filed in March of 2020 against Stephen Watters and Ed Holden and Holden2. Watch Update 6 to learn more about the Derivative Case.
Because of a court ordered Injunction Chris Poole is not allowed to post on any of the Cole and Marmalade, CatMan Chris or Jugg and ZigZag without approval from DPM.
