Coastal foraging is about much more than just finding wild food to eat. You need to understand each of the various habits and how it's inhabitants interacts with each other and with adjacent habitats. From the base of the food chain to the very top, removal of too much of any layer will have a serious detrimental effect on the whole ecosystem. ONLY collect an amount for your needs and don't collect too much from one areavary your gathering over a wider area.
