In this video, I walk through an updated technique that I started using to make MDF molds used to fabricate fiberglass boat deck hatches. This video is not a complete start to finish tutorial for building molds, but if you go back to the video linked below you can see how I build these molds from start to finish. This new technique using a trim router replaces a few steps that I used previously for a much better final result.
