What’s the movie Clueless about?
Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) is a beautiful, wealthy and popular highschool student living in a Beverly Hills mansion with her rich dad Mel (Dan Hedaya), a grumpy but successful lawyer. Cher’s best friend, Dionne (Stacey Dash) is also beautiful and wealthy and dates Murray Duvall (Donald Faison), another popular student. After receiving a bad grade from a harsh teacher, Cher decides to play matchmaker and orchestrates a romance between her school’s two hardgrading teachers. Her plan ends up working perfectly and seeing the new couple enjoying their blissful relationship fills her with joy. She decides to keep using her skills for good deeds. Her next project? Transforming Tai Frasier (Brittany Murphy), the “tragically unhip” new girl, into one of the coolest girls in school. When Cher’s exstep brother Josh (Paul Rudd) visits her during a break from college, he mocks her superficiality, pushing her to be even more selfless.
