We stop to check out a closed Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Bridgewater, NJ. This restaurant closed back in 2018. If you're not familiar, it's a casual sitdown chain restaurant along the lines of places like TGI Friday's, Applebees, & Bennigans. I feel like those places kind of had their heyday back in the 80's and 90's and eventually the space got too crowded. They all basically had the same type of menu items / food / service quality and kitschy decor. Friday's and Ruby Tuesday continue to struggle along and Bennigans is long gone. Applebees has shut down 300 stores since 2017 (!) and Chili's is closing locations, as well.
