When I got home from work, I noticed a black and white animal in the nextdoor neighbor's tree. I thought it was a skunk at first but it turned out to be another neighbor's cat. The cat's owner ended up walking by calling out the cat by name. So, I asked if she was looking for a black and white cat and pointed her, the cat, out in the tree.
At first, we weren't really sure how to rescue the cat, since none of us had a ladder. I scanned the trees for a safe route to the trees. I got permission from the nextdoor neighbor to climb his tree.Once I made it up the tree to her, I let her sniff my hand and gave her some pets to keep her calm. She was surprisingly docile while carrying her down the tree.
