Breath of the wild has already been out for 3 years now, and despite everything a player may know about this game by now, one of the biggest misconceptions to this day has to deal with the shield numbers, and what their exact purpose is. Since the game never once explains to the player what their exact function is, I decided to do some research both in game and out to solve this mystery once and for all!!
