The carpet floors in my Lumina have not been cleaned for 22 years. There are coffee, drink and food stains right below the middle bench seat in the front. There is a ton of dirt and debris and grime that needs to be vacuumed first. A strong degreaser cleaner will be applied to all stains and agitated. The solution will be extracted to revealed a better appearance.

I used a vacuum from harbor freight, Super Clean Degreaser diluated 4:1 or 5:1 for carpets, Chemical Guys interior handheld brush, and the Bissell SpotClean ProHeat hot water extractor.
