✨ Vegetable soup recipe:
4 peeled and diced potatoes
1/2 onion
1 cup diced carrots
1cup chopped celery
1 tbsp minced garlic or garlic clove or powder
1 tbsp better than bouillon (chicken or turkey)
1/4 cup parsley
1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
3 cups water

Boil all veges, once boiling, reduce heat to medium. (keep steady simmer/vent lid) Simmer 20 minutes then remove from heat.

For the white sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
4 cups whole milk

Melt butter in pan, add in flour to make a paste, add salt and pepper, cook 13 minutes, stir consistently. Slowly add milk one cup at a time. (dont dump at once or it will be clumpy) Stir consistently on medium heat. Boil one minute then remove from heat. Garnish with cheese, bacon bits and chives.
