Encounter between a praying mantis and a black widow.

·Praying mantises are usually solitary except during the breeding season, but they are great hunters and their diet does not consist solely of insects, did you know that they are capable of eating birds? Even frogs, lizards or little mice.
There are still many to discover in tropical regions of the planet, but did you know that? They are relatives of cockroaches!

· The paykullian spider resembles the black widow in shape and color. They differ in that black widows have dorsal and ventral markings, in addition to having a much less potent venom similar to that of a wasp sting. Their diet is based on small insects and other arthropods. They spin their webs close to the ground to catch their prey.
