Just after 5:30 AM the city of Troy’s Fire Department was dispatched for a reported structure fire at 494 2nd Avenue . Firefighters made their way to the second floor where they found a individual that was still in the building and got them out to their vehicle. Firefighters were attempting to make an aggressive push to knock down the fire, but the fire took off on them.

Heavy fire began to blow through the roof of the structure where firefighters were venting the trapped super heated gases and quickly began to spread, and the truck company made their way back to the bucket.
