Recorded and Digitalized off a pre recorded VHS tape with a recently restoration/remaster original TBS Broadcast with Pete Van Wieren, Joe Simpson, Skip Caray and Don Sutton in game 2 of the 3 game series from Fulton County Stadium. Starting pitchers RHP Pete Smith (00) for the visiting Reds and LHP Tom Glavine (11) for home team Braves.
Reds take the early lead off Glavine who seems to have troubles in the 1st inning on a 2run HR from SS Barry Larkin (2). Lead doesn't last long as Atlanta pick up a run in the 2nd on a SAC fly C Luis Lopez (unearned) and 2 runs in the 3rd including a solo HR from Chipper Jones (3). Game is at 33 and in the btm of the 4th inning the Braves come up with 6 runs (knocking starter Pete Smith out of the game and removed replaced by LHP Mike Remlinger.
Tom Glavine goes 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 Reds hits while striking out 4 and walking 3 enough to win his 2nd win of the early season. Pedro Borbon comes in in the 9th inning (replacing Brad Clontz) and earns his 1st save of the season as the series is tied at 11.
