One of the most unique slasher movie protagonists may surprise you, but Andy Barclay, the first person to ever survive one of Chucky's onslaughts, is one of the few who has been able to perpetually evade his evil adversary.

Andy Barclay, son of Karen Barclay, was just six years old when he accidentally befriended his doll possessed by Charles Lee Ray, and he would forever be affected by the horror that would follow. Andy most likely suffered from DTD or Developmental Trauma Disorder caused by the terrifying experiences he underwent in the fall of 1988.

Using this framework, I'll analyze his entire life story, from Chucky's first incarnation on his sixth birthday, to his two subsequent returns and near possessions of Andy, to what Andy may have been up to in the years that aren't documented in the movies, all the way up to his adulthood and current whereabouts.

I'll also take a closer look at how his creativity may have saved him on multiple occasions and discuss the iffier sections of the Child's Play / Chucky timeline.
