Today we've got a Chromebook, and there are a few keys that aren't working. We start by checking which keys aren't functioning. In this case the keys that don't respond, are scattered across the keyboard. In that case, the likely issue is with the keyboard connector. The nearby nonworking keys would be unfixable, because the keyboard likely took a hit.
We pry the laptop open and find the keyboard connector, we need to open it and examine it. Don't use force to open the connector; instead, carefully study its mechanics, before attempting to open it.
We try cleaning the connector, to see if it helps. If it doesn't work, we'll have to replace the keyboard. Since it's integrated into the frame, we'll have to disassemble everything. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Watch the video and see if this i an easy fix.
