these injustices will, most likely, exist for a very long time; even after the lifespan of a newborn baby has ended

with countless, innocent Blacks unjustly incarcerated, where is racial equality?

some people admit and acknowledge that injustices happened in the past, but insist that those "rainy" days do not exist now

"...'only in the past' is what they say..."
some people say that racism and unfairness against Blacks only exist in history

"...build a tent and say 'the world is dry'..."
you can shelter yourself from racism and pretend it does not exist; headinthesand syndrome

"...zoom the camera out and see the lie..."
but when you consider the racial facts of the world as a whole, you will see all the propaganda

"...made me cross the street the other day..."
the protagonist avoids situations which will incite racists into their heinous acts

"...made you turn your head the other way..."
because some people tend to ignore the crimes that racists commit against innocent Blacks

"...raised your neighborhood insurance rates..."
geographic racial composition is a leading factor that results in higher premiums for some people

some Blacks prefer living in segregated communities over living with abusive racists and economical gouging

racial injustices seem to nullify the progress Blacks have made; as observed during February

racism seems to fall away when Blacks and other people of color commemorate their own achievements

"...the same crime has a higher price to pay..."
corrupt judicial systems slant in favor of a certain race of people

"...the judge and jury swear it's not the face..."
even though the court system claims equal, blind justice for all despite race

racism against Blacks can be found the world over

innocent people are offended and disgusted by supremists who perpetuate racism against Blacks

America was built and still profits from the constant exploitation of Blacks

the protagonist asks what role do you play in racial injustice; perpetrator, passivist, or victim

"...history quickly crashing through your veins..."
Blacks and Whites alike are the products of their ancestral legacy which is instilled in both races alike
