While working with FBI, I was advised of a black pickup truck speeding 45mph in a 30mph on McCain Blvd near Lockridge. I located the vehicle leaving the Walgreens parking lot on McCain Blvd and North Hills Blvd. I attempted to stop the vehicle for the speeding infraction, when the vehicle failed to stop and began speeding away at a high rate of speed. The vehicle traveled Southbound on South Fairway Ave. from McCain Blvd. before traveling Northbound on North Hills. The vehicle ran a stop light at North Hills and McCain Blvd before traveling West on McCain Blvd. The vehicle attempted to turn Northbound on Greenway Dr. from McCain Blvd, before loosing a tire and coming to stop. The driver exited the vehicle and surrendered to Law Enforcement at that time without further incident. The tire that came off the vehicle went through a residential fence at 1821 McCain Blvd, causing damage. After searching the vehicle, a misc. amount of weed was located behind the driver seat inside the vehicle. Passenger, Lakiah Burse (B/F, 4/11/83) was released without charges. The owner of the residence (Johnson) was notified of the incident.
