Cherry Eye in a Puppy
Cherry eye is caused by a swollen third eyelid usually in small breed dogs. The gland looks really red and swollen. Eye ointment and benadryl may help soothe the irritation , but surgery may be needed to may the gland stay where it's supposed to.
