We take a cruise to Stehekin Washington aboard the Lady of the Lake. We depart from Chelan, and cruise for a little over three hours on the 50 mile long Fjord. Lake Chelan is the largest natural lake in the state by any measure, The lake is also one of the deepest fresh water lakes. Stehekin is a small village at the head of the lake. The only way to get to this small community is either by boat, float plane, horse back, or on foot. There are no roads to Stehekin. We rented bikes to peddle around the village and to visit rainbow falls. Our return trip was on the Lady Cat a high speed catamaran
that takes a little over an hour to return to Chelan.
