I’m gonna cut to the chase, if you think this is going to be a tuna melt I am sorry to say, no. No, the Cheese Tuna Sandwich from the Household Searchlight Recipe Book of 1937, which I say incorrectly in my intro, combines tuna with cottage cheese. I’m going to guess there will be no less than at least…hmm…let’s see…15 green face and/or barf emojis in the comments? I mean, a lot of you absolutely hate cottage cheese. I don’t get it, but I respect it. For me this combination, which actually called for seasoning (!) the cottage cheese. So there is that. Not to mention, there’s lemon involved too!
