Today we tackle a subject that is very sensitive for many in the Handpan community.
In this video, we take a closer look at the quality issue surrounding Chinese handpans, particularly those being sold on online marketplaces like Amazon. Many players and manufacturers have expressed frustration and anger over the poor craftsmanship and sound quality of these instruments, which can sometimes be found at lower prices than handpans made by reputable manufacturers.

We'll delve into the lack of quality control measures in place for Mass produced handpans and how it contributes to the problem. We'll also discuss how this has led to a devaluation of the handpan as an instrument, with many people being disappointed when they receive a poorlymade instrument that doesn't live up to their expectations.

However, it's important to approach this topic in a compassionate way. While it's important to address the issues with Mass produced handpans, the desire and income levels that desire access to these instruments need to be understood.
