How to change Rear Differential Fluid on my 2015 Subaru Forester. Replace as much of the differential oil as possible. My Forester is a CVT Nonturbo model.
This process may be the same for the years 2014 2018, (4th Gen), and will be very similar for other Subaru Models like the Outback, Crosstrek, Tribeca and Impreza both turbo & nonturbo.
This is Part 1 on the Rear Diff. Part 2 will be on the Forward/front differential.
The gear oil I am replacing has about 70k miles on it.

Keep in mind this is an aid to performing the process, and you are responsible for undertaking this task. Torques, fluid requirements, they could change in the future, so do your best to do it right!
