This is Chance’s 4th socialisation session with the pack and he’s continuing to do well. Little interactions that he used to be tense over, he is now starting to relax.

Luke talks about the stages of the other shelter dogs Neveah, Rosco and Molly. All at very different points. Neveah was next in line to progress to day care sessions but it was discovered last week she was suffering from quite a bad prolapse and was rushed into surgery. She’s doing very well and once she gets the all clear will be able to continue with her training.

There’s also a collection of pieces from the Carrying of the Violet … we can’t move on when Miss Violet is having one of her power naps or else she gets lost in a field. So Luke picks her up and moves her to the next station. This happens a bit. She continues her napping if carried upside down.

At the dam she falls asleep behind the SUP board. I panic for a few seconds. Then she can’t get herself out. We have a coffee table in the house if she goes under it she runs under it in circles barking because she can’t figure out how to get out of it. She’s known to get herself into some funny situations.

Nala is hanging off the end of the dock. It’s her favourite spot. It’s the best view by far and she’s in a good position to catch a frisbee or ball.

Mowgli has applied his usual Chanel No.2. He can’t understand what all the fuss is about.
