A CH53K King Stallion operated by Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX1) transported an F35C Lightning II from #NAWCAD Patuxent River to its site at Lakehurst. There, the Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department will use the aircraft in future tests of emergency recovery systems.
