In an unfortunate incident on 8th December, a military helicopter carrying general and cheif of defense staff Bipin rawat, his wife and 12 other passengers crashed near the hills of Coonoor Tamil Nadu. This was a modern Russian made Mi17V5 model of helicopter which was going from Sunur to Wellington. It is used for advanced operations and also for professional use by Indian prime minister and the Indian president. Many people came up with theories on why this crash might have happened? Was it the bad machinery, pilot error or bad weather? In this video, I explain these theories and conclude which is the most likely one by comparing this with the famous basketball player Kobe Bryant helicopter crash of 2020.
