[CC] DPS Digital Phase Shifter in a Demo Board u0026 Testing with a Hioki CM3286-01

Hi guys! In this video I installed a DPS, Digital Phase Shifter on a DoItYourself demo board that I made, and tested it with a Hioki CM328601 AC Clamp Power Meter. The DPS is a singlephase to threephase converter. It allows you to run a 3phase motor out of the available singlephase power supply. The DPS unit model is an MYPS2, rated for 1Hp, 220V 3phase, which is a match for my 1Hp, 3phase Meiji induction motor. The objective of installing the DPS on a demo board was for me to have 3phase voltage available for testing purposes, not necessarily for motor control. The DPS did output 3phase voltage, but it has certain limitations which I discussed in the video. I provided timestamps for easy navigation to topics/chapters. The DPS device is made in Korea.
