This expensive Sureflap connect WiFi microchip catflap has a serious design flaw making it not fit for purpose. Our cats aren’t allowed out at night for fear of them not being spotted by motorists (one already got run over at night). We bought this 180 quid catflap and it worked well for a while. The curfew setting was great, you’d set it for sunset and sunrise. That was until our cat, badger, figured out all you needed to do was put one paw on the latch, use your claws to pull the door and you’re away! They’ve issued me a fix for this when I contacted them. This is STILL not sold as standard. Contact them for the fix if you want to buy this product.
