Shed Ninja 2 In 1 Shedding Brush for Cats Product Review

The Shed Ninja 2in1 cat brush for shedding has a rake on one side and shedding blade on the other.  This deshedding brush is really nice because it has a flexible head, which allows it to be more conforming to the kitty's body and therefore more gentle for your pet's skin.

The rake of the brush has tapered pins to get into your kitty's coat to remove the undercoat (we know Ragdolls don't have an undercoat so this is for those cat readers who don't have Ragdoll cats). The shorter teeth on the Shed Ninja 2 In 1 Shedding Brush collect and remove the loose hair.

The stainless steel shedding blade removes loose hair from the undercoat.

Of course, a shedding brush for cats helps keep your furniture and carpet fur freeer as well as can help with hairballs...however, hairballs are really more a food issue than a hair issue.

This cat grooming tool was ordered from Amazon, so I was like the consumer, receiving the product and experiencing what it would be like to order it from Amazon.  The Shed Ninja company, VJO Global Ventures, which is a familyowned business, was very responsive.  They emailed me right after I ordered it, then emailed me when the package arrived and then again once more after I had had it for a week or so.  It was really nice to have access to the company like that so I could ask questions or address concerns.

The first email talked about the importance of your pet's diet when it comes to how their coat and hair is couldn't agree more with that!!  It isn't about the brush you use it is what your kitty is fed (and also their natural genes).  I love that they are educating the consumer too.

The brush is very comfortable to hold and use.

It is dishwasher safe on the top rack and I ran it through the dishwasher three times before we reviewed it and there was no change in the brush.

Overall, I liked the Shed Ninja WAY more than I thought I would.  I am typically NOT a fan of deshedding tools as they can take away the sheen from a cat's coat.  However, I was pleased with how my cats reacted to being brushed by both sides of this brush.  That's saying a lot, given that they both hate being brushed.
