Case study 062 - RubberBuggie

Detalidon Research

So this graphic study is a combination of several attributes, very inexpensive, front wheel drive, simplified suspension, low maintenace. One special item, is to use rubber for both suspension and shock absorbtion. These system are used today on lighter weight utility trailers. Some items have not been fully drawn, such as bracing structures needed in the chassis, the differencial, reverser box and the steering rack.

Typically, there is not as much styling efforts going on in the relm of the three wheel, tandom and solo seated vehicles. Seems more effort is put into the drive and chassis. I just think there should also be effort placed into making it more attractive to the public. So what is possible? Practially anything you find in 4 wheels.

Why? welllll, a 200mpg street ready vehicle is not possible in 4 wheels. But is in a tandom 3. That is about internal comustion engines (ICE). Double that for EV when gas was $3/gal.

Here is the deal My plan is to take the most popular of my 'Case Study' concept and build it out as a DIY kit to sell to the public. It very much depends on public interest and within the target criteria of a optimal and cost efficient commuter vehicle (even if a sporty version). When developed as a platform, it leaves the door open for vendors to create their own body styles to drop on top. Hence why I'm depicting so many style types and a select number of platform layouts.

On the other hand, if I just inspire a DIY person or an entrepreneur in the 3 wheel or micocar relm, well that's perfect as well! Every style that has existed in the 4 wheel world, is (mostly) possible in the 3.
I aim to prove that. So this series may well go on forever.

We make a TINY little amount for each view. But when enough is earned on a selected Study, that project will be on my list to build. So have your friends look at the ones you like! And PLEASE do, comment on any style changes/colors/details you would like to see or ask about other concepts you would like to see.

Currently I'm planning to provide a website to promote this activity better. So keep tuned in!
