When Sony approached me and asked if I wanted to create a film for the launch, I was actually trying to take some time off on Sardegna.
But they gave me complete creative freedom and on top, I was teaming up with the brilliant @DennisSchmelz , who is a fellow Sony Ambassador as well and did the whole BTS coverage.

So I said yes and then ...panicked. What on earth should I shoot? I didn't know anyone on the Island and I speak very little italian.

As Sardegna is quite famous for its horse culture and me being a former horsegirl, I decided to do a film about someone with horses. Little did I know that I would find an incredibly beautiful gem on Sant'Antioco/Sardegna, the Carolina Ranch. And with my first visit, I found an even better story as I originally planned the story about Viviana's huge passion for horses and how she is passing it on to her daughter Carolina.
