Telling Caprice and Ella it was Ava's birthday today (January 4, 2022). It was nearly ruined the day before while during a doctor's appointment, Ava's doctor wants Ava to take her thyroid medication, but Ava has a problem when she does drink alcoholshe never takes medication on days when she drinks.

It was almost a disaster after Ava's family physician advised her to take her thyroid medication and drink alcohol (beer), and Ava adamantly declined. The doctor, revealed to be Dr. Kanika Jaggi, states that Ava's thyroid medication and beer are safe, yet Ava disagrees as Ava never has (a situation that will stand, regardless) drank alcohol and take medication on any given day whatsoever.

Note that Ava is not trying to humiliate or slam her family doctor, or even calling her an incompetent quack, Ava happens to know she is in the right and is not changing her stance on medication and alcohol.
An important lesson is that taking medication and drinking alcohol on the same day is even more dangerous than drinking and driving.
