After over 20 years of shooting professionally with various Canon DSLR cameras I have invested in the mirrorless Canon R5 and RF lenses. Join me as I discuss the pros and cons of my journey moving to mirrorless. I always like to gain plenty of experience with any kit before making a video about it so I have now shot numerous professional assignment at home and abroad with the R5, everything from portraits and news stories to interiors and landscapes. I am still evolving with the camera so I don’t have a definitive opinion yet on every aspect of the camera but will discuss my findings so far and invite others to jump in on the comments with their experiences and thoughts. I intend to make a series of videos looking more in depth at every feature of the new mirrorless range as I evolve with the camera using it in the very real world of professional photography.
