‘Wagging Woofs and Calmer Days’: Canine interaction and the effect on anxiety across the lifespan BY Anita Illes
Did you know our furry friends have been by our side for centuries, evolving from hunters to beloved companions and therapy aids? Despite their remarkable presence in our lives, there's still much to uncover about the impact of our "pawesome" companions on our anxiety levels, especially in the comfort of our homes. This presentation explores canine companionship and its effect on anxiety. The study is designed to examine various interactions, including playing, walking, grooming, training, and petting our canines, to understand how these activities influence our anxiety levels. The study also considers different age groups, from young adults to seniors, to determine if age alters the outcome of anxiety levels. Through meticulously crafted questionnaires, we aim to uncover the beforeandafter effects of these interactions between owners and their furry friends. Let's delve into our findings and unlock the secrets of our canines. Join my presentation if you're interested in discovering the power of our furry companions' love.
