Bourdain called it "the wackiest, jolliest place on earth", filipinos flock to it...there is always a line, but why? Dishing plates of sweet spaghetti and fried chicken, Jollibee is the Philippines fastfood gift to the world. Now, a culture can't get much nicer than filipinos, friendly, smiling and the quietest babies on earth. I can attest to the last claim. I used to fly Philippine Airlines to Vancouver to go home, a flight that lays over in Canada and then continues to Manila, a flight with on average 98% babies who all astonishingly don't make a peep. This is a video about first impressions, about "Little Manila" in New York, but most of all about seeing if a Canadian will also crumble in joy and affection and be stung by the Jollibee.
