Do you prefer a programmable switch panel over the rocker style switches? I personally do. I first saw an install of the VoSwitch JL100 by Matt from Bleepin Jeep on his Project JLO and I thought why can't I install that in my JK?
Disclaimer: I am not sponsored by nor am I being paid by VoSwitch for this Install & Review.
So I ordered one and figured out how to modify it to work. There are 4 modifications necessary to make it work with your JK.
1.Drill the mounting bracket at 71/8" from the leading edge back with a 3/8" drill bit.
2. Purchase a Mini Fuse Tap to replace the Micro Fuse Tap provided. Napa Part Number: 785135
3. The fuse tap will need to go to a different accessory location, I used fuse location M6 "PWR OUTLET #1 (ACC)".
4. You will need to run the control wire into the cab in a different method than under the windshield, I chose to use the rear washer line grommet. Note: You can run it under the windshield but it is more difficult on the JK than it is on the JL.
I also ran into an issue with a bad mother board for the unit that I received. Fortunately customer service was quick to respond, was very helpful and got a replacement out to me fast, at no additional charge!
I hope you enjoy my video, leave me comments, questions, or feedback! This is my first video and I hope to improve in my future uploads and that you find value in the content I share!
