Is the 4.6 2v more powerful than a 5.3 LS? Or will the 5.3 reign supreme as America's most beloved swap engine? The dyno is the ultimate lie detector, and while you will never get an undisputed answer to "which engine is best" with a simple dyno test, the results are pretty interesting!

This time, we throw my 2003 Mustang GT on the dyno to get a baseline power number to compare against as we build up the replacement engine. My goals for the 5.4 4v swap are to make 400 horsepower at the wheels naturally aspirated, and 800 to 1,000 when we throw on forced induction, but before we do any of that, we need to know where we are starting from just like I do with all of my builds.
