Question of the Day: Can your employer take photos of you at work?

A lot of employers have closed circuit camera as part of their security system. Also, there may be reasons why an employer wants to photograph employees related to work documentation. Additionally, when you started work, you may have signed some type of photography release as part on your onboarding process which would allow your employer to take photos. Some companies like to show behindthescenes images on their social media or in their ad campaigns.

If legal questions were easy, we wouldn’t need lawyers.
