When you lift a Toyota Tacoma and install larger tires your speedometer will no longer be accurate. This also goes for Tacoma's that have changed out your rear gears. The factory speedometer is not designed to make adjustments for larger tires or aftermarket gears.

HyperTech has developed a plugandplay system that makes recalibrating your speedometer easy. All you have to do after buying their kit is download their software that is currently made for PC only, then you will program their device and you simply plug it into the back of your speedometer.
