This instrument is a replica of a Tenor Normaphone fabricated for me by Scott Sweeney of Sweeney Brass in Raleigh, North Carolina. Normaphones were manufactured in Germany from 1925 to 1935 and marketed as less expensive alternatives to the saxophone.
