We struck metal detecting gold with this location, a enormous area riddled with colonial structures; multiple starter homes, barns, and other outbuildings badly weathered but still standing after centuries! With a place this large there must have been a lot of activity in the past so we had a better than great shot of finding some incredible old coins and artifacts. We brought along three friends from the Copperheads group; and together with me, DogTag Doug, PA Pirate Paul, and Charlie the Heritage Relic Hunter we were ready to bring some of these long lost pieces back into the sunlight! This is day one of several return trips with each day finding better and better things. Let the games begin!
