This video was filmed over 20 years ago. Bunny visited celebrated TV presenter and Naturalist Chris Packham’s previous garden.  Chris Packham shows Bunny his wildlife feeding station, his hedgehog house, his grand old but dead oak tree, & talks about how he manages his own garden. Then Bunny creates her own wildlife garden back at home, designed to pull in the local wildlife.

20 years on, the trees have grown way bigger & the space has been readapted again. To reduce maintenance Bunny lets the sheep and cattle mow it now and then. The log piles have been devoured by fungi, beetles and other wildlife. The pool drys out in the hot summers (we have natural water sources elsewhere for wildlife). But it is still a much loved space, especially in the heat of the summer.

For those of you that are unaware/ haven’t heard of Chris Packham, he is a much loved British TV presenter specialising in all things natural world. Currently he is most famous as being one of the presenters of the BBC programmes “Springwatch”, “Autumnwatch”, and “Winterwatch”. When I was a child, he was a presenter of a programme called “The Really Wild Show”. A fantastic factual programme about wildlife
