Bullshit jobs: an embarrassment of many corporations. On the one hand we have people who are hired to do things that add no value to the society. On the other hand, we have tons of pressing work that need to be addressed. There’s a whole system helping to perpetuate this issue despite the fact that we’re living in a world of productivity and advanced technology. As elaborated in Bullshit Jobs: A theory by David Graeber, people who are aware that they are toiling away in meaningless tasks are reported to be miserable. In this video, I’ll talk about my own experience working a 95 in a global organization and offer a solution.
