The first installment of building a homebuilt aircraft in my garage. The experimental plane build kicks off with shop setup and the construction of two practice kits. We rivet, dimple, drill, cleco, grind, cut, debur, prime, and much more.
In this series, we will document the entire build of the airplane, from these initial steps through airframe construction, avionics and motor selection and installation, and into the test flights.
