In this video I show how I build a alcohol burner from a 1oz aluminum screw cap tin. I also show a burn test of the burner.

Do not use the burner lid to extinguish the flame, It doesn't always work, one or two sharp breaths will usually do.

Burner weight: 0.5oz / 14g
Boil time for 16oz 52dg water: 10:15
Burn time on apx 1oz alcohol: 17:00

Burner materials: Aluminum screw on tin, 1oz size (2"/52mm x 0.8"/20mm)
Carbon felt
Stainless steel wire mesh
