**** UPDATE!!! The gear box did NOT slow the kart down any!!! Somehow the jet came lose in the carb; terrible timing! Update video coming soon along with a little surprise, KJ Raycing style


Wanting to add reverse to the Budget Crosskart VF1 Safari Mode, I found a gearbox on Ebay stating it could handle up to 18hp, it looked beefier than the standard 212cc gearboxes and is sold by reputable company (Blast LED). So I pulled the trigger on a $300 reverse gearbox option and this is how I mounted it. Now figuring out how to mount something is a lot different than seeing how it's done and replicating it; so I hope this helps you guys with your projects and I am definitely loving all the VF1 builds going on. Having reverse on this crosskart makes me want to hit some trails and it's just in time as the weather gets better here. And I'm prepping all my karts for the Busco Beach trip and can't wait to see you guys there!
