Caroline Riegel, globefilmmaker, had promised her buddhist nun friends she would travel accross India with them. As the seasons go by, they discover for the first time their own country: from the Himalayas to the Andaman Islands, from crowd to prayer, from the isolation of a Himalayan winter to a globalised life and most of all far from the India we know.
