When Charlotte and Angus Buchanan of Buchanan Studio were looking for a blank canvas of a house to make into their family home, it was this Edwardian house in Harlesden, northwest London, that caught their eye. A series of clever structural changes followed, including a spectacular extension at the back to accommodate their kitchen, and then it was time to fill the house with the pieces of furniture and fabrics Angus designs for their eponymous interior design company. The finished project is now a generous, comfortable home for the couple, their two young children and their dog, and is packed with innovative, stylish ideas to copy.
